Our “Guru” this month is noone else than Mr Deepak Chopra a global authority on spirituality and personal empowerment. He is the author of more than 50 books, with 16 New York Times bestsellers on mind-body health, quantum mechanics and spirituality. Time magazine heralds Deepak as one of the top 100 heroes and icons of the century and credits him as ‘the poet-prophet of alternative medicine’.
According to Deepak, self-power means having the knowledge, skills and attitude needed to cope with our changing world and the circumstances in which we live. During the day, Deepak will offer you clear and loving encouragement towards having greater confidence in your own capacities, given that it is only by having full confidence in yourself that you can experience the tremendous power of true self-sufficiency.
Deepak Chopra’s popularity as an international presenter and keynote speaker is exemplified in an impressive list of honorariums. He participates annually as a lecturer at the Update in Internal Medicine event sponsored by Harvard Medical School, Department of Continuing Education and the Department of Medicine, Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center since 1997. Dr Chopra is a fellow of the American College of Physicians, a member of the American Association of Clinical Endocrinologists, an Adjunct Professor at Kellogg School of Management, Senior Scientist with The Gallup Organization and founder of The Chopra Foundation.
I find Deepak Chopra more than inspiring a not only very interesting teacher of spiritual renewal. He enfuses kindness and the importance of achieving happiness as a matter of intimate reasurance in nothing less than his based medical background and his knowledge of eastern philosophies and teachings.
He has numerous videos in his diversed seminars around the world and combines scientifical research with his wide wordly engagemnet in modern society. I simply find the most fascinating discoveries and ‘aha’ moments in every of his talks that I have encountered like the one below “the wonder of you” or “the way of the wizard” plus his numerous teachings on meditation.
