•2 Golden Delicious or Royal Gala apples
•A small chunk of carrot
•½ stick celery
•1 large handful of mixed green leaves – watercress, kale, parsley, spinach and whatever other green leafy veg are available
•1 inch slice cucumber
•½ inch of broccoli stem
•1 small handful of alfalfa sprouts – found in any good health shop
•¼ inch slice of unpeeled raw beetroot
•¼ inch slice courgette (zucchini)
•1 small piece of lemon – preferably, wax-free lemon with rind on
•¼ inch slice ginger
•Pour over ice.

Why this is good for you
